Position: Software Support Engineer

Job Requirements

(The major part of the job is Fieldwork. Travelling and Lunch Allowance is also Provided by the company itself. )  

  • Excellent technical & analytical skills. Sound knowledge of OOPS concepts.
  • Sound knowledge/process of understanding/identifying problems/issues/requirements.
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  • Ability to determine whether a particular problem is caused by hardware, operating systems software, application programs, or network failures.
  •  Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat until they’ve solved a technical issue
  • properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Maintain jovial relationships with clients

Requirements:

·     Proven work experience as an Installation and Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role

·        Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments

·        Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products

·         Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (eg. Anydesk)

·        Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

·        Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal


·        Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, CCNA/CCNP or similar technologies is a plus


Qualification:

·         Bachelor/Diploma degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent


Work Location: Infociry, Gandhinagar

Work Week: Monday to Saturday (first Saturday Off)

Work Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Flexible working hours)
